I am all about recycling and using up my scraps. But sometime when we add something to a scrap pile we lose focus and can’t come up with what to do with it. I have found if I use it right away ideas come easier. So…..do you remember the cut out heart from yesterday’s card??? Well, you could add that to your scrap pile or go ahead and use it right away. This is what I did for today’s card….used the cut out heart to create a second card. So while I had all the right colors out I just decided it was a good idea to not throw that cut out piece away or add it to my scrap pile.
The doily die has a crocheted look to it because I ran it through the Big Shot using my Square Lattice folder from Stampin Up…..I love this look!! It really changes the look of the doily and adds texture to your card. The heart cut out is just layered over the doily……then I just finished it off with some ribbon and a mini tag. Isn’t it fun what you can do with your scraps???

It doesn’t look like a recycled card. You are so creative. You’ve given me ideas that I shouldn’t throw away all my old things at home. This would be a good business, if we just know how to do a unique and as creative as your card.
