Love the hodgepodge of layering that this sketch calls for. Even though the RetroSketches challenge called for layers of the same shape I changed it up a bit and used different shapes. Hope I didn’t take to much liberty with my choices!!
Card details: Stampin Up card kit pieces & base (used completely different than suggested)…Festival of Trees stamp set and match punch & Good Greetings sentiments from Stampin Up…washi tape…candy dots…Wild Wasabi embossing powder…Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray cardstock.
Another sketch challenge to get my Christmas cards complete! This one was made for the As You See It sketch challenge. My focal square was created using this cool technique….watercolor acrylic block technique. Once I created the watercolor square and let it dry, I tore the edges! I am loving the gray and gold together….a new color combo that I am sure to use again!!
Card details: Smokey Slate card stock and ink…Gold cardstock…Stampin Up snowflake die…Good Greetings stamp set from Stampin Up…gold ribbon…Whisper White cardstock for the base.
